tips + tricks
- Keep the flame away from any moving air, this includes any vents, windows, fans, etc.
- Burn your candle on a flat surface.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Do not burn the candle with less than .5" of wax in vessel to avoid overheating + damaging surface. 
- Place candle out of reach of children + furry friends. 


- Trim the wick to 1/8" - 1/4" before each burn to avoid "soot". 
- Let the wax melt all the way across the top of the candle on its first burn.
  This will allow your candle to burn fully + maximize burn time.

Each candle is hand poured + derived from natural materials. Due to the nature of these natural materials, candles can vary in wax color + texture. Slight imperfections are expected when creating a hand made product. 

FAQ's

What is the benefit of buying a soy wax compared to other waxes?
- Soy wax is derived from vegetables ( the soy bean ) while its competitor + other waxes are derived from petroleum ( a refined gasoline product ).  Soy wax is a natural + renewable resource, it is also biodegradable + cleans easily with a little soap + water. The burn point for soy wax is very low allowing it to burn slower + longer. This aids in giving off less "soot" while burning.   

Do you use dye in your candles?
- No, we do not. We keep it clean + simple. 

What type of wicks do you use?
- Flat braided cotton wicks with paper threads woven into the cotton. The reinforced construction of the wick is designed to ensure a consistent burn with higher fragrance loads. Wicks are lead and zinc free.

What makes your candles non toxic?
- Our non toxic promise.

How long does it take to ship an order out?
- Please allow for 3-5 business days.

Do you ship internationally?
- Not at the moment. 

How do you ship your candles?
- USPS. We are very proud to support our US postal services!

Can I return my candle?
- As long as your products are: unburned, undamaged, and in the original packaging, you can return them for a refund within 30 days of purchase.  

How much is shipping?
- $8.50 flat rate

How do I find my tracking number?
- Please reference the email you received indicating your package has shipped. If you can not locate the email, please email hello@featherandfinn.co to request the tracking information. 

What should I do if my order arrived damaged?
- First off, we are so sorry your packaged arrived damaged! We try our best to assure that all packages arrive ​perfectly. However, it is sometimes out of our control + because of that will promise to replace all your damaged items as quickly as possible at no cost to you. Email |hello@featherandfinn.co to request a free return shipping label. We do not yet offer exchanges.
